Event Details

Sarnia-Lambton is one of four rural communities in Ontario selected to participate in the Regional Economic Development through Immigration (REDI) pilot program. This initiative aims to support economic growth by addressing workforce needs and connecting employers with skilled talent. REDI is designed to complement local hiring efforts and provide businesses with an additional tool to access a broader workforce.

As part of this initiative, we are hosting two virtual information sessions to help employers and job seekers learn more about how REDI can support their workforce and career goals.

1. Employer Information Session: March 24, 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM

Employers in Sarnia-Lambton can benefit from REDI by gaining access to a wider pool of skilled talent to address workforce shortages and support business growth. This session will provide:

  • An overview of the REDI program and how it works alongside local hiring initiatives
  • Guidance on how to access and hire through REDI
  • Information on available resources and support for employers

2. Applicant Information Session: March 24, 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM
