Sarnia, ON – Sarnia-Lambton Economic Partnership (SLEP) will host its 2026 Annual General Meeting on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Sawmill Creek Golf Course, located at 3790 Lakeshore Rd. in Camlachie.
The meeting is open to the public and will highlight SLEP’s 2025 activities, key initiatives, and regional economic development efforts, while also outlining priorities for the year ahead.
This year’s AGM is highlighted by a keynote presentation from the Honourable Sam Oosterhoff, Associate Minister of Energy-Intensive Industries. Minister Oosterhoff will share perspectives on Ontario’s evolving energy portfolio, with a particular focus on the province’s hydrogen economy and the role regions like Sarnia-Lambton continue to play in supporting long-term energy security, industrial competitiveness, and economic growth.
The AGM will also feature Starter Company Plus grant recipients, showcasing the impact of entrepreneurship and small business growth across Sarnia-Lambton through the experiences of local business owners participating in the program.
“As Sarnia-Lambton continues to strengthen its position in energy, manufacturing, and industrial innovation, conversations around long-term economic growth and energy security are becoming increasingly important,” said Matthew Slotwinski, CEO of Sarnia-Lambton Economic Partnership. “We are pleased to welcome Minister Oosterhoff to this year’s AGM and look forward to sharing updates on the work SLEP has been undertaking across the region to support and drive business growth and retention, investment attraction, workforce development, and entrepreneurship.”
