At Women Building Futures, we surround women and gender-diverse individuals with the support they need to succeed in life-changing careers in the skilled trades. We offer readiness and pre-introductory trades programs that help them build their skills and confidence to thrive in their chosen careers.
After 25 years of supporting women in Alberta and, recently Saskatchewan, we are expanding in Ontario, specifically the Sarnia-Lambton region. We are building strategic partnerships with employers, community organizations, and indigenous communities to increase opportunities and support for women to enter and stay in the skilled trades. We support employers to lead positive change through workforce inclusion initiatives, including our Work Proud Inclusivity Training workshops.
