Sarnia-Lambton is well known and respected as a key engineering, research, development and product commercialization centre for the petrochemical and refining industries. By building upon our established knowledge and infrastructure, Sarnia-Lambton is growing significantly as a bioindustrial hub.
The Western Sarnia-Lambton Research Park, in partnership with the University of Western Ontario, is the location of The Bioindustrial Innovation Centre for Canada. Sarnia-Lambton is also home to world-class college research and development facilities at Lambton College.
In addition to bioproducts and research, we continue to extend our skills and experience to other sectors such as sustainable energy technologies, as well as production and use of value-added agricultural products.
The Sarnia-Lambton area is also an official Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) Point, which grows the area as a hub for international trade and investment and strengthens market access for existing businesses.
With deep roots in refining and chemical production, automotive, manufacturing, metal fabrication, and engineering, it’s only natural that Sarnia-Lambton is Powering a Sustainable World. We invite you to join us.
