The awards via the Sarnia-Lambton Apprenticeship Network – focused on bolstering skilled trades opportunities locally – opened for nominations earlier this month, said the network’s Mikelle Bryson-Campbell, also a senior researcher with the network-member Sarnia Lambton Workforce Development Board.
Five awards are available – one each from the automotive, industrial, construction and service sectors, and one rookie of the year award.
