E-Commerce Assessments for BusinessesThe Sarnia-Lambton Economic Partnership is launching a new program to help local businesses begin or expand online sales. Through the new program, small businesses will receive a one-hour e-commerce consultation at no charge. Starter Company Plus RecipientsThe Sarnia-Lambton Economic Partnership is announcing that six local businesses have been selected to participate in the 2019-2020 Starter Company Plus Program. Offered by the Sarnia-Lambton Economic Partnership’s Business Enterprise Centre, Starter Company Plus is a joint initiative with the Ministry of Economic Development, Job Creation, and Trade that is designed to support entrepreneurs by combining grant funding with coaching, mentorship, and community support. Summer Company EntrepreneursThe Sarnia-Lambton Economic Partnership (SLEP) celebrated the completion of the 2019 Summer Company Program on Tuesday, August 27, 2019. A joint initiative between the Sarnia-Lambton Economic Partnership and the Ministry of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade, the Summer Company Program provided the four participants with a $1,500 grant to launch a business, as well as mentoring and training in various aspects of entrepreneurship over the course of the program. Upon successful completion of the program, the students were also eligible to receive another $1,500 for a total of $3,000. Read more... |
